If any of you can answer his questions better, please get on the list for the sequel. Yes, maybe he interviewed the lunatic fringe, but when it comes to fundamentalism it is all pure 3rd grade/primate egotism. Get real!! This is the Rev. Arnold Conrad today, 10/11, before John McCain showed up at the convention in Mississippi. "I would also pray, Lord, that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their god — whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah — that his opponent wins, for a variety of reasons," Conrad said.

"And Lord, I pray that you would guard your own reputation, because they're going to think that their god is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you will step forward and honor your own name with all that happens between now and Election Day," he said.

Go ahead, defend the bigot, but when we live with the idea that our "God" is bigger and more majestic than someone else's "God", we find new reasons to hate and new areas to "occupy". This type of arrogance is pure evil!! Can we get any more Medieval? Maher's criticism is timely, funny, polemical and most important, essential to the free world.

The problem with the court of law question is, who would show up? When you can't measure something that isn't there, the burden of proof is on you. Because it would never hold up in court means that the court room is as empty as your religion. I concur with Maher, we can't afford to be timid any longer.

Lets end this ridiculous debate right here: If any religious organization had to prove that their religion was true in a court of law, BEYOND A DOUBT, how would they do it???

Answers not considered in a court of law:

1) "Just believe it"
2) " God told me"
3) "Just have faith in it"
4) "Somebody we never met told us to do it"

Comedy
tastes change over time. I’m sure a water-squirting daisy on a jacket
