IF it was up to Europe including France and Britain, a peace plan would be imposed, and security forces from the UN or NATO would be put up as peace keepers. Obama is the biggest ally Israel has in the whole world. Israel has violated international law with impunity for decades. They have engaged in apartheid policies and ethnic cleansing. Israel refuses to join the IAEA, sign a nuclear non-proliferation treaty and allow inspections of their nuclear facilities. Iran has done this and more. Israel refuses to cease the illegal construction of settlements on occupied Palestinian land. these are all acts of a rogue nation. If the Obama administration seeks to bring true change to Middle East policies from that of the Bush regime then the U.S. must cut off all financial and military aid to Israel. Israel must be isolated and brought to account for their violations of international law and numerous war crimes.
